The Queensland University Excellence in Skills Training (QUEST) Award Program is a new and exciting program which challenges you to realize your goals, explore new ideas and empower you with a variety of valuable life skills.

The QUEST Award provides you with the opportunity to further enhance and apply your skills in communication, leadership, independence, commitment, organization, and much more.  It is a self-directed program which allows you to plan and design your own program based on the skills and qualities you wish to develop. Upon completion of your choice of 6 workshops, you will be invited to attend a Ceremony where you will receive a certificate and be officially acknowledged by the University of Queensland. It would look great on your resume.

The Award also enables you to:

• Meet others and make friends;
• Demonstrate your valuable attributes to prospective employers, scholarship bodies and other application processes;
• Broaden your knowledge and skill base;
• Challenge yourself;
• Foster positive relationships between University staff and students ;
• Tailor the Award to suit you;
• Gain confidence;
• Be recognized and
• Have a great time!

Eligibility:

UQ Ipswich students from all disciplines and all years are eligible.

What's Involved:

• You must complete 6 workshops in total (See workshops list)
• Time commitment includes 6 hours in total per semester.
