The Peer Notetaking Program aims to improve academic access for students who are unable to take adequate lecture/tutorial notes due to their disabilities. The Peer Notetaking Program involves a student peer providing a copy of their notes taken during lectures and tutorials to students with a disability. The program relies on the efforts of volunteer students.
The Peer Notetaking Program is not intended to replace the requirement for personal attendance and note-taking at lectures and tutorials.
Academic staff can assist by providing copies of all OHTs used during lectures and/or copies of their own lecture notes. Academic staff are also involved in the process of recruitment of Peer Notetakers.
