International student support

The International Student Advisers in Student Services welcome you to the University of Queensland. The most important session any new international student can attend is the Getting Started session. You are advised to also attend other practical workshops on living in Australia. The Guide for International Students is designed to assist you, from planning your arrival in Brisbane through to completing your studies and returning home.

UPCOMING INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SUPPORT SESSIONS:

GETTING STARTED

Getting Started sessions are designed to assist you with the smooth transition to campus life. Attend a Getting Started in the first 2 or 3 days after you first arrive. Attendance at one session is compulsory for all new international students at any level of study including transfer students. Please note the Getting Started is ONLY for students starting their formal UQ degree program in the current semester.
