The Introductory Academic Program (IAP) is organised by Student Services for all AusAID, ADS, ACIAR and ALA sponsored students beginning courses at The University of Queensland.
Both undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University need to manage their own studies and cope with a minimum of supervision. The IAP helps you make the transition to a new educational institution and a new cultural setting, offering an ideal beginning to your studies and a way to establish contact with the people who can help you throughout your degree.
AusAID, ADS, ACIAR and ALA sponsored students are required to attend the IAP. We urge you to attend the program from the beginning to gain most advantage. In addition to the IAP, throughout the year, learning assistance is available to you at Student Services.
