The team at ConnectU are student volunteers to help those who are about to commence at UQ.  They can help you with information about moving to South-East Queensland, important university contacts and procedures, what it’s like to be a university student and much more!

The First Year Engagement team is ready to assist you in all inquires regarding first year studies. Furthermore, the team design and deliver special programs for first year students such as: Jumpstart academic preparation program (JSAPP) , Thrive@UQ , and UQ Mentoring , in addition to many other social events. We also run joint Mates@UQ activities.
