There are a number of tools to assist you in choosing the career path to suit you:
- Work experience/summer internships – one great way to find out if you like your career is to ‘suck it and see’ through work experience or an internship. That’s how you can find our day-to-day what the job’s like, create some networks in your field and land a job before you graduate. Speak to a careers advisor about how to get a foot in the door or your lecturer or tutor. You could even explore an elective where you get to do a practical experience and are marked on it - if your in engineering or IT the program is call PEPS.
