Managing your reading load

Managing the volume and complexity of reading at university with the limited time available can be a difficult juggling act. This workshop will

  • provide tips on how to become a discriminating and effective reader
  • discuss what counts as scholarly work and what is acceptable in academic writing
  • provide you with the skills to understanding complex reading matter

Issues covered will include

  • choosing your reading
  • how to get the most out of textbooks, primary sources and research material
