Are you completing your studies at UQ soon and thinking about what you need to do to graduate and finalise your studies? Are you thinking about the next stage in your career: where to from here?

If so, consider attending a Graduation and Beyond session. It is designed to save you time by bringing together all the information you may need at this stage of your study. The session will be useful whether you are staying on in Australia for work or further study, returning home or preparing for more global opportunities. For AusAID and Study Abroad and Exchange students this session is called the ‘Return Home Seminar'

The Graduation and Beyond sessions are held about mid semester and include information on:

• Graduation ceremonies & hire or purchase of academic dress
• Obtaining University transcripts & shipping baggage home
• Careers and Employment assistance & other University supports
• Preparation for the transition to life after study – back home or globally
• Keeping in touch with the University and UQ Alumni information

Attendance is by invitation in International students' final semester of study
Some Graduation & Beyond sessions are held jointly with your faculty

An email invitation will be sent to your UQ email address.

• Please be sure you have the correct ‘graduation semester' in your mySinet Enrolment information.

• Please check your UQ emails at least weekly.

• Please keep your email mailbox clear.
