“It takes 30secs for someone to decide if you are wrong for the job!”.

If an employer / recruiter has invited you for an interview it is because they are interested in what you have to offer. Now it is up to you to sell yourself to them!  The best way to do this is to PREPARE!!!!!!

Here is a pre-interview checklist to help you prepare for the big day:

• Who will you be meeting/what is their role?
• What time is the interview? Pre-Interview paperwork?
• Location? Parking / Public Transport
• Length of Interview?
• Do you need to bring any additional material?
• Research the company / role
• Research the salary
• Make sure you have up-to-date referees and they are aware of the jobs you are applying for
• Practice possible questions / responses with a Career advisor or with a friend
