Conferences
St John's College has well developed facilities for conferences and meetings
of all sizes ranging from as few as six to several hundred. There are a
number of small and large air conditioned and other rooms in the College
which have been designed for use as main conference rooms- varying from
60 to 180 - and breakout rooms holding up to 20 people.
In addition, it is possible to rent large air-conditioned lecture theatres
just one minute away directly across from the College. These hold from
150 to 400.
The College has a wide range of facilities available for conferences - audio
visual and other equipment. College conference rooms can be configured
as lecture or seminar style rooms, depending on requirements of conferences.
Residential accommodation includes well maintained standard college style
rooms - group bathrooms - and some sixty rooms with ensuited bathrooms (one
between each pair of rooms).
Menus for main meals, morning and afternoon teas, are all provided as per
conference needs.
Rates for conferences may be negotiated according to requirements.
