On Tuesday 10 February 2009 at the Clinical Education Forum at the University of Queensland School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, two new on-line packages were launched. These were the On-Line Flexible Package for the Student Practice Evaluation Form - revised Edition Package (SPEF-R^©) and the web-based electronic version of the SPEF-R^©. A presentation to introduce the packages was made by the SPEF-R^© team.

In 2008 the Development Team was awarded a University of Queensland Teaching and Learning strategies grant to enable the development of the on-line training package. It is anticipated that the new package will benefit Occupational Therapists who use this evaluation tool to assess students on block clinical education courses.
