Soils and Land Resources has access to an extensive "in house" range of facilities and equipment, gathered from over 40 years of constant development and improvement.

In addition to the facilities available "in house," facilities within the University of Queensland, which is one of the premier research intensive universities in Australia, are also available. Due to the availability of a wide range of facilities, the capability exists to undertake fundamental and applied research into almost any field in Soils and Land Resources.

Laboratory Facilities

There are a wide range of dedicated laboratory facilities that have been developed to facilitate teaching and research in soils and land resources. These include-

These laboratories are supported by a dedicated workshop, operated by an experienced machinist, with an extensive range of tools and lathes, to fabricate new equipment and to maintain existing facilities.
