Project Outline: Investigation of nitrate adsorption in deep subsoils from north Queensland, and the relevant soil chemistry leading to nitrate retention.  The effects of changing soil charge (cation and anion exchange capacities), as a result of changes to soil solution conditions (pH, composition and ionic strength), on the nitrate present.
