The Centre for Communication and Social Change was established by School of Journalism and Communication to meet the growing need of NGOs, government organisations and international aid agencies for trained professionals to work in a wide range of projects in Australia and around the world.

The Centre specialises in the study of Communication for Social Change - an increasingly popular field of study that promotes the use of various forms of communication, including community media and Information Communication Technologies, to bring about positive participatory development and social change.

As the only Centre of its kind in Australia, the Centre offers a range of postgraduate courses - in coordination with the School of Journalism and Communication - that will equip you with the theoretical and practical skills you need to excel in the fast-growing social science field of Communication for Social Change.
