mySI-net Staff Access
mySI-net is the self-service component of the student administration system, where staff can search for and view student records. It also provides staff with the functions such as generating class lists, sending bulk emails, and generating studies reports.
Most staff users require "Read Only" access to mySI-net, which allows access to the general core staff functions and a view of the mySI-net Student pages.
In addition to the general core staff functions above, a limited number of staff members will also require access to:
- Sign-on Registration - set up electronic sign-on for tutorials, practicals, etc.
- Validate Grades - validate exam result files before uploading to student records (no grade upload).
- Upload Grades - upload exam results to student records (validate grades prior to upload).
- Update Access - allows staff to change selected personal details and enrolment information for students in accordance with UQ policies.
The requirement for such additional access is specified on the Access Request Form.
