The following food outlets, administered by the Student Union [See map], are located in the Union Building on Campbell Place:
Main Course Food Precinct

Main Course allows you to choose from a rotating menu, specialties from around the world and even to make your own salad or sandwich. Main Course is a precinct of tastiness, convenience and healthiness, where students and staff can socialise over any meal of the day, either in- or outdoors. Main Course outlets include:
- Global Kitchen - pasta and rice dishes from around the world
Tackle Box - seafood, chips, burgers and more- Gravy Train - roast meals
- Dolce & Banana - gelati, Yoghurt and a make your own sandwich/salad bar

The Pizza Caffe is renowned throughout Brisbane, and continuously receiving 5 star reviews. Be captivated by alfresco and in-door dining with views of UQ Lakes. Choose from 27 gourmet Italian pizzas, which are each named after a famous movie star. Pizza Caffe will indulge you with live music on Friday evenings while you sip a drink from the bar. Red Room

Location: Below the Main Course in the UQ Union Complex
For decades UQ St Lucia students have flocked to the Red Room for a feed to accompany their beverage desires. Come down to the Red Room for a drink and grab some hot chips or Nachos. Try the Chicken Parmi or check out the selection of burgers and sandwiches. Chill out on the Red Room deck, let your hair down and watch a hard day's work disappear. On a Roll Bakery
Opening Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am - 4pm
Location: UQ Union ComplexOn A Roll Bakery offers scrumptious bagels, cupcakes, focaccias, pastries and their famous ham and cheese croissants. It is situated on a corner of the Union Complex opposite STA travel. Drinks and gluten free options are available here.
Lolly Shop
Opening Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 8:30am - 4pm
Location: UQ Union Complex
The Lolly Shop will captivate your sweet tooth and cater to your every craving with their extensive range of nougat, ice-creams, chips, nuts, & so much more. There is even top American and English confectionary and chocolates on offer, if you're feeling a little posh. In addition, the Lolly Shop has cigarettes, international call cards, mobile recharge cards and other grocery items on sale for your convenience.

- The Physiology Eatery and Cafe
Opening hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am–4pm ; and Friday 7.30am–3.30pm.

The Physiol Eatery & Cafe has been renovated! More than ever you can enjoy your creation from the MYO (make your own) station or a delicious hot meal. The Physiol Eatery & Cafe also offers fast food such as chips, pies and sausage rolls, and a wide range of drinks. Located on the ground floor of the Physiol Refec is a coffee shop where you'll find one of the best coffees on campus and a variety of pastries.
Darwin's
Opening hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am–3.30pm
Location: Building 94 [See map] (beneath Biological Sciences Library and across from the Art Museum)
Darwin's offers casual dining, cafe-style meals and friendly service. Relax while our in-house Chef prepares a gourmet beef burger, salt & pepper squid, lychee salad or fettuccine amatriciana for lunch. Or sit down on the plush couches indoors or under the palms outside to sip your latte.

Bar Merlo at the Library, in the Duhig Building facing the Great Court, is open for business. It serves coffee and snacks such as soup, pasta, wraps, foccacia and cakes from 7am-8pm, Monday to Friday (semester hours) and 9am-5pm weekends. Catering is also available.

The Deck – The Deck is a coffee cart located just outside the UQ Sport & Fitness Centre (Building 25). Besides offering a range of coffee options as well as other hot/cold drinks, The Deck also sells a range of snacks including sandwiches, wraps, salads, muesli bars, muffins and cookies. Genies is a cafe restaurant in the Queensland Bioscience Precinct. It provides table service or takeaway, and can cater for functions of any size, any day or evening. Genies is open for meals from 7am Monday to Friday, with a breakfast menu available from 7am to 9am. Cafe Grinders, is an outdoor café, which also caters to surrounding buildings. Situated on level 2 of the Sir James Foots Building Café Grinders offers breakfast, light meals, salad, sushi, sweets and coffee. Grinders is licensed to sell alcohol on Thursdays from 3-8pm. Mr Beans Coffee carts are located next to the Main Refectory, Physiol Refectory and Darwins Café, offering a wide variety of coffee styles (including flavoured).
Cafe Nano specialises in the finest coffee and the tastiest toasted sandwiches on campus. They also make ice lattes, iced coffees, iced chocolates and milkshakes. Located at the A.I.B.N building (building 75), corner of College and Cooper roads.
