The Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) is a program which provides student-to-student mentoring to help smooth first year students’ transition from a school to a university lifestyle.
Second and third year undergraduate students who have successfully completed a first year course are trained as PASS leaders to conduct study sessions for students currently enrolled in the same course. Attendance at PASS sessions is voluntary, but highly recommended.
At the University of Queensland, PASS is currently included in first year course curriculums offered by the
- Faculty of Science
- School of Economics
