External studies courses (also called distance learning) in the Faculty of Science are administered by the Distance Education Centre. You can contact the centre by ringing the faculty toll-free telephone number 1800 807 214 or by email.

The Faculty of Science has produced a learning support kit called Hang in there! for distance students. The kit targets undergraduate distance students studying at UQ's Gatton campus, but all distance students (undergraduate and postgraduate coursework) will find most of the kit very useful.
