About Us

The UQ School Liaison team aims to support principals, guidance officers, year level coordinators, teachers, parents and future students with comprehensive information about The University of Queensland.

Specifically:

• we disseminate information about UQ study options, pathways, scholarships, services and facilities
• we attend major Queensland and selected interstate career markets, expos and open days 
• organise and host school visits to UQ campuses
• visit high schools in Queensland and Northern NSW
• coordinate the dissemination of helpful information to schools and individuals
• coordinate annual UQ hosted  Principals Forums and Guidance Officer Conferences etc 
• foster UQ's agenda to widen participation in tertiary study for educationally disadvantaged students

The UQ School Liaison team is part of the Office of Prospective Students, Scholarships & Student Equity. OPSSSE also manages:

• The UQ Young Scholars and UQ Young Achievers Programs
• Scholarships and Prizes for undergraduate students 
• The University's Enhanced Studies Program (ESP) 
• Programs to build the educational aspirations of students who might not otherwise have considered a university pathway
