The UQ Summer Research Scholarship Program offers scholarships to students who are engaged in research projects over the summer vacation period (from mid-November to mid-February). This program provides students with the opportunity to work with a researcher in a formal research environment and discover what research is being undertaken in their field of interest at UQ. In addition, students who qualify for a scholarship will receive a stipend of $300 per week for the duration of their research (up to 10 weeks). Allocation of the scholarships is decided by the Faculty, School, Research Centre or Institute where the research is undertaken.

The Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences administers the programme on behalf of its six schools. Supervising academics should only be contacted for more information on a project that has already been posted. Please direct all other queries to Faculty's Teaching and Learning Support Officer, Erin Zielke, at: e.zielke@uq.edu.au
