What is Public Relations?

Public relations (PR) people are communication professionals who plan and deliver strategic advice, information and programs on behalf of their client organisations or individuals. PR is an exciting, dynamic profession which has expanded rapidly over the past decade. PR is about two way communication with carefully identified target audiences or stakeholder groups. PR people work closely with other communication professionals such as those in journalism, marketing and advertising.
