Faculty Research Committee - Terms of Reference
Terms of Reference
The role of the Research Committee is to provide strategic advice to the Executive Dean on all matters relating to research in the Faculty.
- To develop, promote and implement strategic policies for Faculty research
- To discuss and respond to research issues, initiatives and programs developed or being considered at the, School, Faculty, University and Government level
- To review and make recommendations on the establishment and funding of research centres
- To assess applications and make funding recommendations under University schemes
Membership
- Associate Dean (Research) (Chair)
- Manager of Innovation and Commercial Development, SBS
- Research Manager and Commercialisation Associate, SBS
- Senior Administration Officer (Research and External Relations) (Secretary)
- Chair of each School’s Research Committee (or equivalent role in the school)
- ISSR Director of Research (or representative)
- Research and Innovation Division representative
- UQ Social Sciences and Humanities Library representative
- One RHD student representative from each school and ISSR
- Others may be co-opted from time to time.
