Acceptable Use Policy for SBS Labs

SBS computer labs are available for students who are currently enrolled in courses offered through the faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences.
It is strictly forbidden to bring food food, drinks or pets into any of the faculty computer labs.
Students are forbidden from installing ANY software on lab PC's. All installations of software are monitored and recorded.
Labs 5, 6 and 7 lab access swipe cards are available from the SBS Faculty Office on Level 4, Building 24.

All Internet traffic is monitored and recorded against your login account.
Internet access is provided for teaching and course related work ONLY.
The University has strict policies on Internet usage published in the Internet Code of Practice. This policy document can be found on the SBS Lab noticeboards and in the Handbook of University Policies and Procedures and applies to ALL students.
Accessing the following types of websites is strictly forbidden:
- Pornographic websites
- Gambling sites
- Gaming sites

Failure to comply with these procedures may result in disciplinary action.
