The School is interested in encouraging applicants with research programs involving advanced imaging, such as MRI and PET, especially in the field of neuroanatomy. The Queensland Brain Institute, the Centre for Magnetic Resonance and a new Centre of Advanced Imaging are part of an exciting University initiative to advance imaging research at the University of Queensland. The successful candidates will have an opportunity to link into the platforms being developed by this consortium. The School’s vision is to integrate modern techniques in medical imaging into its gross anatomy teaching program. While imaging is an area of interest for the School, candidates with strong research profiles in any field of biomedical sciences should apply. These positions do provide an opportunity for a senior academic to attract potential colleagues to the University and to establish a dynamic team. An important selection criterion is that the applicants must be capable of contributing to our teaching program in Gross Anatomy and/or Neuroanatomy.  More details
