The University of Queensland Data Warehouse is maintained by Management Information Section and has been developed to provide UQ staff with easy access to a wide range of data without the need for intervention by IT staff. The Data Warehouse collects data from a number of operational systems (such as SI-net, Aurion and Research Master) and stores it in a way which makes extraction easy and efficient. The interface to the Data Warehouse is the adhoc query and reporting tool BusinessObjects. This product has been chosen because of its high level of useability and functionality.
