About the Scheme 

The Project Grants Scheme is the NHMRC’s main avenue of support for individuals and small teams of researchers undertaking biomedical, public health and health services research in Australian universities, medical schools, hospitals and other research institutions.

 

Closing Date

Internal (R&ID) deadline: Wednesday 15 February 2012 (for review and compliance checking of your application).

External (NHMRC) deadline: Wednesdy 14 March 2012

R&ID Workshop

An R&ID workshop for NHMRC Project Grant applicant teams has been scheduled for Tuesday 24 January 2012. This workshop will cover eligibility, compliance and technical considerations, and aspects of grantsmanship for NHMRC as well as their funding partners (Cancer Australia, Cancer Council Queensland and Heart Foundation).
