 NHMRC Partnerships for Better Health

About the Scheme

The NHMRC Partnerships for Better Health initiative was designed by NHMRC to more effectively integrate evidence into health policy and service delivery. The aim of the scheme is to help create partnerships among decision makers, policy makers, managers, clinicians and researchers. Partnership Projects will focus on informing the decisions that influence health and wellbeing through changes in delivery, organisation, funding and access to health services.

Closing Dates

  • Internal (UQ R&I) deadline: Tuesday 29 May 2012 (for review and compliance checking of your application).

How to Apply: Step by step instructions for UQ applicants

Internal Submission Procedure

Applicants must arrange for their application to be submitted to UQ R&I by close of business on the internal deadline, Tuesday 29 May 2012, for review. The following documents should be provided by this internal closing date:
  • 1 hard copy of the full PDF document uploaded into RGMS (document name: [APPID]_Surname.pdf, e.g. APP1012303_Douglas.pdf)

Application Certification: Chief Investigator (CI) Certifications must be obtained in writing prior to the submission of your application to the NHMRC. Certification may be by handwritten signature on the UQ Certification form, or via email provided the email includes the relevant certification statement and the full name, position and contact details of the person certifying. Certifications are required from CIs B to J. CIA certifies online in the RGMS application and is therefore not required to complete the UQ Certification Form.

CIA gathers the required Certifications from all other CIs on his/her team, and provides these to UQ R&I before commencing CIA Certification online in RGMS. The University of Queensland (UQ) will retain the Certification form/s for its records.
