About the Scheme

The University of Queensland provides funds annually to enable distinguished overseas researchers to travel to this university to collaborate with colleagues (Category 1) and University of Queensland staff to travel overseas to conduct international collaborative research (Category 2).

Travel assistance is available to scholars actively engaged in research who will contribute substantially to research activity in the nominated School, Centre or Institute at The University of Queensland.

Closing Dates

Applications must be submitted to the proposed host School/Centre/Institute by 22 August 2011.

Reporting Requirements

Following completion of the travel, and by 31 March in the year following the award, the recipient is required to submit a final report on the outcomes of the project. The report must be completed using the UQ Travel Awards report proforma.
