About the Scheme
The scheme is a joint initiative by the Group of Eight (Go8) Universities and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) - Germany’s national agency for the support of international academic co-operation.
- To foster research collaboration of the highest quality between Australian researchers from Go8 universities and German researchers
- To result in research outcomes and the exchange of skills and knowledge of mutual benefit to Australia and Germany.

How to Apply
Applicants must complete the DAAD application form for exchanges in 2012 available on the Go8 website.
Applicants should also complete a UQ Funding Application Coversheet, avaliable on the UQ R&ID Website
Completed applications must be submitted to the Research and Innovation Division no later than 5pm 30 June 2011 (as specified by the Go8). Applications should be submitted in hard copy and electronically to Ms Veronica Brancatini, Administration Officer (Grants) – v.brancatini@research.uq.edu.au.
Following submission, all UQ applications will be subjected to internal quality assurance processes and a ranked list of applicants will be produced and forwarded to the Go8.
