ARC Assessment and Rejoinder Process

ARC Discovery Projects Rejoinders are now open. The Research and Innovation Division internal closing date for e-submission of your completed rejoinder is COB Tuesday, 05 July 2011.

UQ REJOINDER WORKSHOP

To assist researchers to prepare Rejoinders for both Discovery and Linkage schemes, Research and Innovation Division (R&ID) held a Rejoinder Information Session.

Venue: Senate Room, Brian Wilson Chancellery (61A), St Lucia Campus

A senior academic panel, including researchers who have served on the ARC's College of Experts, was available to take questions from the floor.

HELPFUL ADVICE ON HOW TO COMPLETE YOUR REJOINDER

Applicants please note the following:

  • All participants listed on the proposal with 'Edit' rights can view, edit and submit rejoinders to R&ID.
  • You will be able to submit a rejoinder even if you have not received any Assessment Reports.
HOW TO ACCESS YOUR REJOINDER – HELPFUL TIPS FOR UQ APPLICANTS:

Detailed information on the rejoinder process (including instructions for accessing assessment reports and submitting rejoinders) is available from the ARC web site at: http://www.arc.gov.au/applicants/assessor_rejoinders.htm.

Accessing your rejoinder: The ARC web link above includes a step-by-step visual guide on accessing your assessments, and preparing/e-submitting your rejoinder within RMS. Please note:

  • Your assessments and rejoinder are located within your DP12 Proposal in RMS.
  • To access your assessments and rejoinder, please click on the ‘Proposals’ link on your RMS main page. Select ‘DP12round 1’ from the drop down list for ‘Scheme Round’ and then click on the ‘Search’ button to show your Proposals. Your assessments and rejoinder are accessible as individual ‘tabs’ within the Proposal.
  • All participants listed on the proposal with ‘Edit’ rights can view, edit and submit rejoinders to R&ID.
  • Rejoinders have a character limit of 5,000 characters including spaces. If you exceed this limit you will not be able to successfully ‘Submit’ your rejoinder to R&ID.

If you have forgotten your RMS password or User ID please select ‘Reset Password’ or ‘Retrieve User Name’ link on RMS log-in page and follow the prompts. You may also access the useful RMS tip sheets from the R&ID website http://www.uq.edu.au/research/rid/grants-gams-rms, which are designed to assist you with password and User ID queries.
