This $80,000 award recognises an outstanding researcher with a demonstrated track record of significant work in human medical health, and for whom the award will facilitate career development and further achievements with potential importance to human medical health and Australian medical research.

Conditions of Award

• The scientist will not be employed by a commercial organisation.
• The work will have been carried out mainly in Australia.
• The propoosed nominees when shortlisted, must be available to attend the Award Ceremony which will take place in October 2012.
