Round Status:  CLOSED

The University of Queensland Foundation Research Excellence Awards scheme is a means by which the University recognises demonstrated excellence and promise of future success in research, and the leadership potential of individual young researchers in their respective fields. Awards are normally valued between $50,000 and $100,000.

The general aim of the Scheme is to provide funds to advance and facilitate the research agenda of excellent, individual early career researchers, particularly where there is evidence of the strategic importance and significance of the research. An individual’s research agenda might cover more than one discrete research project.

The award of the grant will be based on the excellence of the applicant and the merit of the program of research for which the award is sought.
