UQ’s investment in major research infrastructure, in partnership with government, industry and donors, provides cutting-edge facilities and leading technologies for researchers to pursue their research questions. Research facilities are operated by expert staff to ensure professional support, training and consultation.  

UQ’s research facilities include extensive high tech research equipment and instrumentation, laboratories, wide-ranging scientific services and training, as well as theatre style auditoriums equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.
 
In addition, through location and linkages with other facilities, many of UQ’s clinical research facilities have access to the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital (RBWH), Pathology Queensland, Queensland Institute of Medical Research, and the Royal Children’s Hospital.
