The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) International Fellowship Program provides financial support to outstanding Australian scientists/clinicians to strengthen their research and clinical experience by working in internationally renowned breast cancer research and treatment centres outside of Australia. A list of the international participating (host) institutions and available matched funding can be found in the Guidelines.

There is no no scheduled closing date for this scheme. All applications will be considered at the time of submission, and Fellowships may commence at any time.

Overview

Eligibility
• Candidates must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
• Candidates must have a doctoral degree (PhD and/or MD) and a proven track record of engagement in breast cancer through clinical practice and/or research.

Funding
The duration of the NBCF International Fellowship program is 1-2 years, with funding of $100,000 spread over either 1 or 2 years from NBCF. Matched funding from international participating institutions may be available.
