ARC Linkage Projects that seek collaboration with Department of Education (Qld) - EOI
Sponsor: Australian Research Council
Closing Date: 30-Aug-2019
The Queensland Department of Education has a long history as a partner with universities on ARC Linkage Projects on topics of mutual priority.

The department has a competitive application process in place for assessing potential ARC partnership proposals that involve central office business areas (not schools or regional districts).

The proposals will be assessed using the following criteria:
• alignment with priorities articulated in the department’s Research Plan, which can be accessed at https://education.qld.gov.au/about/documents/final-research-plan.pdf
• quality of methodology and imposition of department staff and students
• extent of cash and in-kind support sought from the department
• potential return on investment
• ability to provide tangible solutions for policy and practice, and
• demonstrated end-user engagement strategies.

Should the UQ researchers seek to collaborate with the department on LP2019 (for Linkage Projects commencing in 2020), please submit a Partner Proposal to ResearchServices@qed.qld.gov.au by 30 August 2019 to provide the department with sufficient time to assess proposals and prepare required letters of support.

A copy of the Partner Proposal template can be obtained here: https://education.qld.gov.au/about/Documents/partnership-proposal-template.docx

Please contact your Research Partnership Manager to discuss your proposal and approach to Department of Education.
