2019 Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) – Keeping Australians Out of Hospital Grant Opportunity

Keeping Australians Out of Hospital grant opportunity to be administered by the NHMRC will support research into evidence-based, implementable and scalable preventive health measures that aim to prevent the development, or promote better management of complex and chronic health conditions, improve quality of life for people with these conditions and keep them out of hospital. Applicants are encouraged to seek strategic partnerships involving organisations whose decisions and actions affect Australians’ health, health policy and health care delivery in ways that improve the health of Australians.

* Minimum data requirements in RGMS: 16 January 2018
* Applications due to UQ R&I: 16 January 2019
* Applications close with NHMRC: 30 January 2019

Minimum data
Applicants must submit minimum data in RGMS by the applicable due date. Failure to meet this due date will result in the application being removed from further consideration. Minimum data for this grant opportunity is:

- General – Application Information (specifically the Administering Institution, Administering Institution, Application Title, Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander Research (yes/no), Synopsis and Plain English Summary)
- A-RC Research Classification
- B-AI: Application Information

Scheme Documentation and Application Process
Applications must be submitted electronically using the NHMRC’s online Research Grants Management System (RGMS). Researchers are reminded that they can be named as a Chief investigators on one application only.
