The Australian Companion Animal Health Foundation (ACAHF) funds research projects that further knowledge about the cause, treatment and prevention of diseases in companion animals, primarily cats and dogs.

Overview

• Aim
Applications are sought for grants for research into the causes, prevention and cure of disease in animals seen in small animal veterinary practice and in particular in the canine, feline and other companion animal species.

• Eligibility
Preference will be given to veterinary applicants who are firstly Australian Small Animal Veterinarians (ASAV) members and secondly Australian Veterinary Association (AVA) members. Proof of AVA and ASAV membership (e.g. membership number) must accompany the application.

• Funding
Grants are up to $10,000 per year.
