2019 UQ Early Career Researcher (ECR) Grants Scheme – Opening of Applications
Sponsor: University of Queensland
Closing Date: 02-Oct-2018
The scheme aims to encourage research by new members of staff; provide limited seed funding as a means of generating external research support; and support, on a competitive basis, high quality research projects of modest financial cost from early career researchers.

Definition of an ECR and Eligibility
For the purposes of the scheme, an Early Career Researcher (ECR) is someone who is, at the time of application, within their first eight years of academic or other research-related employment.

A number of other eligibility criteria apply to the scheme and are outlined in detail in the 2019 scheme Guidelines.

Information Session
To assist UQ researchers in preparing their UQ Early Career Researcher (ECR) applications, UQR&I will shortly host an Information Session. Details will be disseminated once available.
