The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation – Research Fellowships

The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation's (TPCH) Research Fellowships have been developed to build research capacity and sustainability by supporting full time researchers on TPCH campus or in a significant partnership with TPCH and its associated community programs. The fellowship is also designed to provide mentoring, support and career development to the applicant.

Eligibility
1. Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent research qualification.
2. TPCH Foundation Research Fellowships are for full-time employment only. TPCH Foundation Research Fellowships may be held on a part-time basis if the recipient is fulfilling family and/or carer responsibilities and must be negotiated in advance with TPCH Foundation.
3. Applicants will only be considered if the work is being undertaken at, or in significant association with, TPCH Campus and/or in association with a TPCH community based service.
4. Any relevant Ethics approvals must be obtained prior to commencement of the research project. Approval is not required prior to submitting your application. It is the successful applicant’s responsibility to ensure Ethics approval is received in a timely manner.

Funding
The duration of a Research Fellowship is 3 years, with funding of $100,000 per annum.

Key Dates
Full Applications due to UQR&I: 17 August 2018
Full Applications close with PCHF: 31 August 2018, 12pm
Applicants notified and successful applicants invited to interview: 2 October 2018
Interview: to be held between 15-19 October 2018
Applicants notified of the outcome: early November 2018
