The Physiotherapy Research Fellowships enable physiotherapists to improve health outcomes for Queenslanders through research that:
• enhances the value of the professions through discipline specific research;
• promotes innovative healthcare through evidence-based physiotherapy practice and new models of care; and
• contributes to the advancement of physiotherapy policy and education.

Eligibility
The Chief Investigator must:
• be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia, or be seeking to secure Australian residency for the duration of the Fellowship;
• be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) to lawfully practice as a physiotherapist in Queensland;
• must practice principally in Queensland;
• have no adverse limits or conditions applied to their registration.

Funding
One Fellowship will be awarded in Round Five of the Physiotherapy Research Fellowships. The duration of the Fellowship will be a maximum of two years, with funding of $30,000 (GST exclusive).
