The Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation’s Career Development Grants and Project Grants fund high quality research into the prevention, treatment and cure of cerebral palsy. The Research Foundation's priorities to expand cerebral palsy research for the 2018 grant round are:
• Aetiology, causal pathways
• Prevention
• Early identification, early intervention
• Novel interventions, novel treatments
• Cure

The ultimate goal is to promote discovery in prevention, cure and best management of cerebral palsy.

Eligibility
Applications will be accepted from individuals, groups of researchers, committees or project-focused foundations. Chief Investigators must be employed through an Institution e.g. Hospital, University, Institute.

Funding
• The duration of Project Grants and Career Development Grants is 12 to 48 months, with funding of up to $250,000.
• The Career Development Grants are to be used by the award recipient for any of the activities as listed below to assist in the recipient’s career pursuits including:
- fellowships or PhD scholarships
- travel
- conference attendance
- employment of research personnel
- consumables
