ACARP Research Funding

ACARP funds projects that address key problems in the coal industry, including health and safety, environmental impacts, mining efficiency, coal preparation efficiency, mine operating costs, and marketing. ACARP’s Current Projects Report provides an overview of projects currently funded by ACARP.

This is advance notice of the upcoming funding opportunity; further details will be provided as they are released by ACARP. Engagement with the coal industry is essential for the success of ACARP funding applications, and proposal planning should commence well in advance of the release of the 2018 Research Priorities. Please see https://www.acarp.com.au/funding.aspx for further information. The 2018 Research Priorities, which will include Proposal Guidelines, should be available on the ACARP website from early April.

The UQR&I internal deadline for submission of applications is close of business Wednesday 11 April 2018.

Applicants should provide a completed application and signed Funding Application Coversheet to industrygrants@research.uq.edu.au in order to commence the UQR&I review process.
