About my.UQ for Staff

my.UQ is your personalised portal or doorway to the services you need as a UQ staff member, delivering a web-based system to improve access to applications and information, providing financial, communication and functional benefits to staff.

You can perform all of the following functions with secured single sign on:

  • access your UQ email
  • view your UQ wide calendar
  • see university announcements
  • see messages and reminders from your organisational unit
  • send bulk emails based on a variety of selection criteria to staff and students (for selected staff in the first release)
  • access corporate and desktop applications from any personal computer
  • find out what's happening at UQ and around the world
  • search University directories, campus websites and more
  • access newsgroups
  • look up today's weather around the world
  • write and send UQ e-cards

In addition, the portal has the following features:

Personalise & Customise
  • Ability to individualise personal workspace
  • Ability to customise the content to suit an individual
Distributed Administrative Privileges
  • Administrators can grant administrative tool privileges to selected modules to faculty and staff members.
