| The International Conference on Biotic Plant Interactions
covered a wide range of scientific research topics spanning plant
pathology, plant-microbe interactions
and plant-insect interactions.
Traditionally plant-microbe and plant-insect interactions have
been looked at as two separate issues. Biotic
Plant Interactions brought together scientists and students
who are interested in plant pathology and beneficial interactions
of plants with other organisms, including viruses, bacteria, fungi,
oomycetes, nematodes, insects and other herbivores.
The International Conference on Biotic Plant Interactions was
held at the Queensland Bioscience Precinct in Brisbane,
Australia, 27-29th March 2008.
