 Biosecurity

The greatest threat facing humanity today is interuption to the world's food supply. Crop plants are continuously exposed to pathogen attack and the pathogens are continuously evolving in an effort to overcome the plants defense mechanisms. Biosecurity reseach at UQ aims to generate plants that are capable of defending themselves against tomorrows pathogen.
