The award was presented the the PSA's annual dinner in November. Outgoing Queensland State President of PSA, Associate Professor Lisa Nissen, said the awards were a highlight of the year and were worthy recognition for some of the outstanding people in the profession in Queensland.

“Every year the quality seems to get higher and this year was no exception with the judges finding it a very difficult task to single out the eventual recipients of the award,” Associate Professor Nissen said.

“I think this highlights the very high standards of teaching and practice in this State.

“I congratulate all the winners and indeed everyone else in the profession who has made such great contributions during the year.”
