Pharmacy Re-entry Program

About the Program

The school of Pharmacy offers a 5 day program for Pharmacists who are wishing to re-enter the industry or refresh their knowledge & skills. The Pharmacy Re-entry Program is offered at the Pharmacy Australia Centre of Excellence (PACE) twice yearly, in February & July. Applicants can attend either the full 5 day program, or select particular days according to the itinerary.

This practical program will provide knowledge and update your skills in the following key areas:

  • Professional Practice Update
  • Therapeutic Updates - Prescription and Non-prescription medicines (including complementary medicines)

Professional updates are delivered by current Pharmacy organisational representatives and include:

  • Quality Care Pharmacy Program
  • Medicare Australia (HIC) and PBS
  • Professional Practice
  • Accessing Internet Drug Information

Learn From Our Panel of Experts

Therapeutic updates are delivered by University lecturers, hospital pharmacists and community pharmacists, covering the following disease states:
  • Cardiovascular
  • Neurological
  • Respiratory
  • Diabetes
  • Gastro-intestinal
  • Common fungal infections

Who Should Attend?

  • Pharmacists who wish to re-enter either full time or locum pharmacy 
  • Pharmacists in the workforce - update your skills

5 Day Program | $1000.00 (including GST)  
Single Days | $250.00 per day (including GST)
