The School of Pharmacy will relocate to the cutting-edge facilities at PACE for the beginning of the 2010 Academic Year, co-locating with industry within a purpose-built precinct.

The move will allow the School to significantly grow its:

• undergraduate and postgraduate student body
• research capacity

The PACE project aims to create a new and unique health and medical precinct, with particular focus on pharmacy and pharmaceutical science.

This visionary concept, jointly developed by The University and the whole profession in 2000, will create a leading facility for pharmaceutical research, education and commercialisation.

The project has the support of the Queensland State Government, which has donated land for the project on a site adjoining the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
