Pharmacy Futures Appeal - 2011

As the School of Pharmacy embarks on the next fifty years, we look to members of the profession to support the School’s vision for students and research and help shape the future of pharmacy.
The future of pharmacy lies with our students and pursuing research that impacts the lives of patients. For fifty years the School of Pharmacy has focused on meeting the needs of our profession by providing excellent education and conducting effective research.
The pharmacy community and UQ are working hand in hand to secure the future of pharmacy – the Pharmacy Australia Centre for Excellence (PACE) is a clear example, where research, education, clinical practice, and industry work together.
Help us establish scholarships for talented students who may have financial barriers to study pharmacy.
And support our research programs to accelerate their progress and enable patients to benefit from the research sooner.

Professor Nick Shaw
Head of School
