Selection process of students
The selection process can be tailored to meet individual companies requirements, the the typical process is:
- Company and UQ agree a project topic for a student to work on, and sign a contract covering student pay and conditions, intellectual property rights, and occupational health & safety.
- UQ advertises the PEPS placement opportunity to students.
- Applications are short-listed by UQ.
- Short-listed students are interviewed by a company representative.
- Succesful applicant is offered a placement.
